2nd Project - A Reception Table

This is an individual project so I had the chance to design on my own from the beginning till the end.
We all need to design a receptionist desk for our chosen company and the table should represent the company image. But the thing was, most of the companies we were looking for had a very simple design, even company like Microsoft and E-bay. I had problem with my design as mine are always rejected and if not, were being questioned. Till the very last minute I had no choice but to finalized my design.. Eventually, I had PETRONAS as the client so I designed a very simple desk, with a part that resemble layers of oil, and the oil running over the floor also.

Here's my design product

I messed up the presentation board, did the colouring, again, so badly. It looked so dull. My apology..

1st Project - The Old Charm of Georgetown

It was a group task and my group consist of me, new friend Hooi Min(Planning) and Izzudin (Archi). We had been asked to design a poster to show 7 interesting thing in Georgetown that reflect the old charm spirit, with Tourism Malaysia agency as the client.
All three of us has never worked together in the previous project so this is a new challenge. We went to the Georgetown site to take some pictures that we thought might help us in the design of the poster and took a walk around it. There are some places that provide good picture such as in the maps and the postcards that help our site visit. I immersed in the Khoo Kongsi's shopduring the visit when I saw so many fascinating items and souvenirs over there. Classical touch are everywhere..

Everynight we had to spend in the studio working on all the selection of places, arranging them, before actually drawing, tracing and painting them. I had myself in a roll as a handy women, just assist both Hooi Min and Izzudin. I did the drawing. Izzudin did the drawing and painting too. Hooi Min did the painting. I was really bad at painting that I told them earlier about it just to make sure that they won't regret asking me to do any colouring. During the colouring process, I actually coloured a part of the mosque but due to how contrast it was to Hooi Min colouring, I was told to go back early. Haha.. Sorry guys.
But they are nice, really, they didn't really shove me away, just politely told me to go back and I'll did the finishes later on so I don't really mind.

and finally, this is the end product....
only one picture leh.. sorry for that

THE SECOND SEMESTER

The Project in the Second Semester is here. More stories, and new experiences will be on the line.
For this Sem, I had to take both English and Bahasa subject to complete the units.

Fortunately, my schedule is as good as it can get, I had only one class in the morning on Wednesday, The Studio subject only in the morning, and the rest seem to be good too.
Anyway, hope this sem will be better than the first.
